Owl News
Welcome to Room 27 known as The Owls. I have taught in Livonia for 18 years - this is my sixth at Jackson. Previously I was the Assistant Director of the Psychology Early Childhood Program at Wayne State for 14 years. I was born and raised mostly in Livonia. I graduated from Stevenson, Wayne State and have done my post-grad work at the University of Michigan.  I have two sons who are both Franklin grads, married and reside in Livonia.  I, also, have two bonus sons (my husband's boys) who live downriver. I have four grandchildren who are the light of my life.  I have rescued a new puppy, Ivy, to join my rescue dog, Butch.  My happy place when not at school is any beach.  I am a Pure Michigan girl and love to vacation in our state, as well.  Reading is a gift I give myself everyday. My passion is the interaction I have with young minds.  Providing an environment that stimulates their interest in learning about the world around them still gives me goosebumps.  I am so excited to share this school year with your children.

Our three CDAs are Miss Tina, Miss Josephine and Miss Katie.
