All About Ms.Kassie

Dear Families:

My name is Kassandra (Kassie) McFall.  I am excited to be your child’s preschool teacher in the Zebra Room this year at the Jackson Early Childhood Center, Livonia Public Schools.  I am very much looking forward to meeting and getting to know you and your child, fostering a positive and collaborative partnership. Below, for your reference, I have provided a brief background about myself.

I earned my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Michigan-Dearborn (2010); I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University (2004); and I also hold a Michigan Professional Education Certificate in Elementary Education with the ZA Endorsement, the Early Childhood Education Endorsement.  Furthermore, I possess eleven years experience teaching preschool age children.  Previously, I was a Lead Preschool Teacher in a center educational setting teaching three and four year old children.  Additionally, I was the Lead Preschool Teacher at a charter school in a Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) teaching three and four year old children.  I was an Assistant Preschool Teacher in a multiage classroom teaching two and half to five year old children. Finally, I was a teacher in a in-home daycare, where I taught infants to three year olds.

I am native to Michigan as I grew up in Ann Arbor, and I currently reside in Livonia with my husband, Jason and my son, Liam.  We will celebrate our second wedding anniversary this October. My husband and I welcomed a baby boy this past April (Liam). Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my son and family, photography, and traveling.  My husband and I have visited Spain, England, Morocco, France, and Puerto Rico.

Most of all, I very much look forward to creating a nurturing learning environment for your child.  I look forward to an exciting, productive, and fun school year in the Zebra Room!  Please feel free to contact me anytime.  My email address is  kmcfall@livnoiapublicschools.org

Sincerely,

Kassie McFall
