January News
MWF-Room 17

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a Happy New Year.

We hope you had a relaxing and memorable holiday season. We have really enjoyed working with your children, and we look forward to many fun-filled adventurous days in 2019.

During the month of January, we will be visiting the arctic to explore penguins, make new snow friends, enjoy winter fun, and turn into paleontologists to learn about dinosaurs. Our January activities will include snow play (inside and outside), fine and large motor activities, art activities, and dramatic play.

We will continue to work on proper pencil grip and writing our names, cutting, and recognizing shapes, colors, numbers, and letters. We have also been working hard to learn the sound for each letter. Knowing the sounds will be important as we learn to sound out words and learn to read!

In an effort to prevent the spread of illnesses, please keep your child at home if he/she is not feeling well.  You do not have to call the office unless your child has a communicable disease. The office phone number is 734-744-2813.

Jackson Early Childhood Center is closed if the Livonia Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather.

Thanks you for all of your cooperation and support. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or see us immediately following class.
